We are constantly searching for ways to further lower our carbon footprint. Wherever possible our petrol powered limousine fleet utilise fuel enhanced with 10% ethanol which results in cleaner burning fuel. We keep our fleet clean by using commercial car washes that harvest or recycle water wherever possible.

Barton Chauffeurs has invested in a Mercedes R. Class which incorporates the latest Euro diesel technology providing average fuel consumption of 9.5 litres per 100kms. Such fuel efficiency is excellent considering it carries up to 6 passengers. As well, we have recently added a brand new Holden Caprice to our fleet. This limousine has Active Fuel Management which allows for example, the V8 engine to cut 4 cylinders when cruising on a freeway, delivering a significant improvement in fuel use. We will continue to monitor and adopt appropriate vehicular technologies suitable to the premium limousine experience.
